Corporal Works of Mercy

Before Easter I promised to follow up with my quiz from two weeks ago about the corporal works of mercy. They are guidelines which provide a model for our how to treat others, “as if they were Christ in disguise.” (USCCB)

Can you name all seven now? I had only mentioned the first; do you know the other six

CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY

FEED THE HUNGRY

GIVE DRINK TO THE THIRSTY

SHELTER THE HOMELESS

CLOTHE THE NAKED

VISIT THE SICK

VISIT THE IMPRISONED

BURY THE DEAD

Consider snipping this out, and posting it in a prominent place at work, in your car, or at home. That’s what I intend to do, so that my kids and I can be sure to memorize them together, and not to forget to make these a top priority.

Have a blessed Easter week!
