This installment of our Did You Know series highlights some of Karidat’s activities over the past week.

• 16 people received individual donations; dozens more were helped by goods placed in our permanent bins outside the office
• 310 visitors to our front window with food assistance needs • 12 people donated goods & clothing
• 20 sheltered at Guma esperansa; 8 adults and 12 children
• 1 client accompanied to Court by our Victim Advocate
• 100’s of phone calls throughout the course of a week
• 8 new enrollees for rental assistance
• 16 families receiving housing assistance; 16 adults, 43 kids • 2 new enrollees in our Human Trafficking Program

HANDCRAFTING HOPE, a Karidat Livelihood Project

Planter boxes, Christmas “trees,” benches and more, all made of repurposed wood pallets are available for pre- order. Sizes vary and custom orders are welcome.
