San Vicente CCD Teachers Recollection

“Come away by yourselves to a lonely place, and rest a while.”(Mk. 6:31) Fr. Jason reflected upon this words of Jesus Christ to his disciples after their return from the mission where they were sent two by two, and related this to the CCD teachers who are at the end of another school year. In a month time, candidates for First Holy Communion and Confirmation will be receiving their respective sacraments. This means also the beginning of rest and break for their teachers who devoted their time every Sunday since October of last year teaching and preparing San Vicente kids for the reception of the sacraments.

It has been a long school year and Fr. Jason decided to have a half day recollection for his CCD teachers to “come away by themselves… and rest a while.” Sr. Nina and Sr. Narcie who has just arrived to complete the Pastorelle Community in Saipan, facilitated the prayerful and lively yet intimate recollection where teachers were able to share their experiences in the ministry.
