The Diocese of Chalan Kanoa is pleased to announce the official appointment and reappointment of two dedicated servants to the Karidat Social Services Board of Directors.

Most Rev. Romeo D. Convocar, DD, has called upon these leaders to help guide the social justice mission of the Church for a three-year term.

Sr. Cynthia Angalot, SJBP (Newly Appointed)

In his message to Sr. Cynthia, Bishop Romeo highlighted the vital role of the agency:

“Karidat Social Services is the social services component of the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa. Although the agency falls under the umbrella of the Diocese, Karidat is independently managed by a Board of Directors and volunteers… I am sincerely thankful for your desire to help in this important ministry for the social justice mission of the Church.”

Ms. Zania Fleming (Reappointed)

Expressing his gratitude for her continued service, Bishop Romeo shared:

“I am most grateful for your willingness to give another three-year term… Your experience and knowledge will greatly promote the social mission of the Church. I am sincerely thankful for your desire to help in this important ministry.”

A Mission of Compassion

Karidat remains the primary arm of our Diocese in reaching out to the marginalized, the vulnerable, and those in need of hope. We ask the community to join us in prayer for Sr. Cynthia and Ms. Zania as they take on this important responsibility. May the Holy Spirit guide them in their governance and service.

God bless you both, and Si Yu’us Ma’ase for your commitment!
