MCS Inducts 57 Students Into NEHS and NJHS

Fifty-seven elementary and middle school students were inducted into Mount Carmel School’s Sacred Heart Chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society in a ceremony held at the Mount Carmel Cathedral.

The ceremony was led by Deacon Rosiky Camacho, school administrators, and society officers.

The inductees were selected by a faculty council that reviewed the academic standing of elementary and middle school students who had maintained a grade point average of 3.75 and had demonstrated how they had fulfilled the society’s values of scholarship, responsibility, service, leadership, and character.

Demapan, Fatima Joy V. Dimaun, Mia Remae V. Guerrero, Ye Lynn Ha, Gabriella Aundrea B. Inos, Siwoo Lee, Caydince Raine M Masga, Miguel Garret R. Mendoza,  Joey Claude B.Mostales, Payton Thomas T. Pangelinan, Leonmar Jaedon B. Regalado, Jaze Enzo P. San Nicolas, Julius Yue Sheu, and Arstin Itibwlschigh D. Tagabuel.

Mount Carmel School President Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero shared his pride in MCS students for doing so well despite the pandemic stating, “Maintaining high grades during a pandemic is not easy which is why I applaud all our students for doing so well in their classes. I must also recognize the hard work of our teachers and the support from our student’s families to help them reach this academic achievement.”
