Most Rev. Ryan P. Jimenez, D. D. and Sr. Nina Caccam, SJBP posed together with the Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators of the different parishes of the Diocese.

“…..IT WOULD be pointless to know everything about theology, rules of the church, the commandments, if all these will not be translated into good deeds.” This is how the Bishop challenged the Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators who were commissioned last September 16, 2018 within the Eucharistic Celebration during his homily. As catechetical leaders, considered “Magas” of the parish communities, who are responsible for the catechists in their own parishes, the bishop expressed his gratefulness to them in behalf of the priests for their generous giving of their time, commitment and love of their faith.

Inspired by the second reading from the letter of St. James, Bishop emphasized that faith and good works go hand in hand. “If you say you have faith and lacking in good deeds, your faith is incomplete. One reinforces the other. Faith enables to do good works. Faith enables us to do good deeds. We do our part as baptized Catholics. That our mission is truly be good witnesses of the Lord.”Addressing this important message to the parents, he encouraged them to enlist their children to the School Year 2018-2019 Catechetical program. He even challenge the faithful to go out and be knock- ing on doors not to talk about election but to enlist them to be disciples, to be witnesses of the Lord.
