The Victim Hotline is an anonymous, confidential telephone service providing direct victim services to the islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota (234-5100).
The Hotline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Anyone can call, including victims, friends or family of victims, and even children.
We serve ANYONE, we provide:
– Crisis intervention
– Planning and support,
– Information on resources and services available,
– Access to women’s shelter.
What you can expect when you call:
- Respect for your privacy
- Compassionate and non-judgmental support
- Opportunities to learn more about your legal rights
- Information on what resources are available to victims in the NMI
Here are some of the topics we receive questions about from our callers: Economic abuse, Immigration concerns, Custody issues, Pregnancy Coercion, the Challenges faced in Rural/Remote locations away from resources, Batterers in Law Enforcement, Victims who are Suicidal.
A good rule of thumb:
IF IT DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT, IT’S NOT! PERIOD.
