Matagumpay!!!! Victorious!!! This is the last word we used to say when our servant leader Bro Mike Velarde asks us: “kamusta na kayo?” – “How are you?” We always declared that we are victorious for “we have fought a good fight; we have finished the race; we have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). We all experienced what our Lord Jesus Christ underwent. By His life, death and resurrection, He conquered the world. He resurrected from the dead and showed us that we will also resurrect with Him. Surpassing all of these by our Lord Jesus Christ, we too will overcome all of these for He said “Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.” We are the followers of Jesus. He sends the Holy Spirit to guide and protect us and when we gathered we know that He is in our midst and all our prayers and longings are assured to be answered. For He said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Mt. 7:7).
Further, He continues to say, “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Matthew 18:19; Matthew 21:22; Mark 11:24).
Thus, we need to believe and God will do the rest. We know that we can attain everything and we will be victorious for He is our Yahweh El Shaddai, The God Almighty, The Super Natural Being who will give us everlasting life.
25th years is just the new beginning of great jubilee. We must be joyful for we know that with Christ nothing is impossible. Let us receive the blessings and the power of healing that will be overflow for this is the day that the Lord has made.
