Final Report on Catholic Charities Appeal Collections in 2022

On March 1, 2022 the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa launched its annual Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA).  This annual appeal was suspended the last couple of years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Proceeds from this fundraising used to cover the expenses for the education and formation of the clergy as well as the cost of administering pastoral, spiritual, and temporal ministries of the diocese.  Fr. James Balajadia’s Canon Law studies at the Catholic University of America was funded by these collections. 

The Diocese relies on the efforts of each parish and its volunteers to solicit and collect donations for the CCA.  Total amount collected this year is $44,690.00 which is broken down per parish as follows:
