The Diocese of Chalan Kanoa, in appreciation to all the mothers, is launching “Project Moms” in celebration of Mother’s Day next month. From now until May 4th 2018, the diocese, through the Commission on Marriage and Family will be collecting dresses which we shall distribute for free to the less fortunate mothers in our community. It will be like ‘mothers sharing with mothers’!

We invite women to donate a dress or two (still in good condition and ready to wear). All dresses that are collected will be arranged and set-up in Joeten-Daidai Social Hall on May 5th, the Saturday before Mother’s Day (May 13) from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM, where mothers can choose and pick a dress, which they can then wear on Mother’s Day. All dresses will be given on a first come first serve basis. Dresses that are not distributed will be donated to Karidat.

Donated dress can be drop-off at the Curia Office in Chalan Kanoa or at your respective parishes. For more information please contact Ms. Glorybel Tan at 234-000 ext. 136.
