Catechetical Formation on the Church

Inspite of the advent of the religious nones; a person with no religious affiliation, and its inevitable effects, the catechists will ponder on the significant role of the church to welcome and accompany them closer to Christ through the church.

In line with this, Fr. Anthony Aguason, Parish Administrator of San Antonio together with the catechists, will re ect on the nature of the Church as One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic.

Born on January 5, 1983 in Roxas City, Phillipines, Fr. Anthony attained his Bachelor of Arts (A.B.), major in Philosophy, minor in English (Cum Laude) and took his Sacred Theology (Cum Laude) in Sancta Maria Mater et Regina Seminarium in Roxas City. He earned his Master of Arts in Education, major in Educational Management (Cum Laude) in Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion, Roxas City.

He was ordained on December 13, 2014 and assigned in the seminary as Spiritual Director for a year, Spiritual and Cultural Director for two years, Prefect of Discipline for a year and Principal for three years before serving the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa.

The catechetical formation will be on October 8, 2018, Monday at Kristo Rai Social Hall at 9:00-11am. This is part of the regular formation for CCD teachers but if there are those who are interested to attend, please contact the Office of Religious Education through Sr. Nina Caccam at 285-1076.
