St. Paul referenced the Church as the “body of Christ” in several of his Epistles.
“For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.” (Rom 12:4)
“As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.” (1 Cor 12:12)
Therefore, it is through this perspective that our local church has decided to collaborate with the local government and health leaders to help achieve a safer CNMI. As part of a collective, we are all interconnected and must work together towards a common goal. We deem it is an act of love on our part to look out for the health and safety of our neighbors.
