On Saturday, May 19, 2018, Fr. James Balajadia will be joined by guest homilist Monsignor James Benavente, FBI Chaplain for Guam and Saipan, and are inviting all to attend the Mass of Remembrance at St. Jude Church. The Mass will be held as a source of healing for anyone who’s suffered a tragedy such as suicide or any violence that has brought harm. The focus however, will be on the Luhk sisters who disappeared mysteriously near a bus stop in As Teo on May 25, 2011.

Everyone will also be invited to pray for the two girls, and it’s hoped that resolution, enlightenment, and ultimately peace, will be achieved through that dialogue. The Memorial Mass is in anticipation of the seventh year anniversary since the Luhk sister’s went missing.

All are invited to attend the memorial Mass, regardless of religious affiliation. The faithful is invited to gather as a community in worship and to light a candle to remind ourselves that both Faloma and Malenia are not and will not be forgotten.
