Celebrating Older Americans Month

The Month of May has been proclaimed “Older Americans Month” here in the CNMI.  Our Manamko’ are a sign of God’s presence during all seasons of our lives and we look to them for an example on how to grow and mature in faith.

At the proclamation signing, Governor Torres encouraged older Americans to be engaged in mentoring, leading, volunteering and doing meaningful work in whatever way they can and urged all generations within our community to greater “togetherness.”

God Bless our Manamko’!

You are in our hearts and we are with you in our prayers.
