This week, a simple reflection of the rule of life, as set out by God in the Old and New Testaments.
When Jesus was questioned about which among the command- ments entrusted to israel was the greatest, he answered:
‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest com- mandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as your- self.’
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22)
And then, just before his death, Jesus gave this instruction to the Twelve:
“I give you a new commandment: love one another. As i have loved you, so you also should love one another.”
